About
Our members love the rush of adrenaline as the audience applauds and the enthusiasm they add to the show. We also love spending our weekends “on the road again” and finding a network of friends to share our love of clogging.
The Bull Run Cloggers, Inc. was founded in 1984. In 1989 we had four dancers. Since then, many have called the "BRC" home and will forever be a part of our clogging family! We have a Board of Directors and several committees that perform day-to-day group operations.
In 1995 and 1999, we performed at Walt Disney World. These performances were experiences we will never forget and hope to repeat. We have made five appearances in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington, D.C. We also danced at the 1996 Olympic Torch Run in Dale City and at many Statler Brothers Fourth of July Celebrations. For many years, we looked forward to ending the year with a performance at the National Christmas Tree on the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. We dance at fairs and festivals all over Northern Virginia, including the Prince William County Fair, the Manassas Heritage Railway Festival, and the annual Manassas Christmas Parade. In 2012, we were honored to participate in the Beethoven Found Tribute to the Wounded Warrior, which supports our injured service men and women and their families.
Thanksgiving usually finds at least a few of our members at the National Clogging Convention, learning more about clogging!
